Terms of Use
By creating an account or purchasing a membership, you agree to use Life Echo Vault lawfully and to provide accurate account and payment information.
Your content
You keep ownership of the memories and photographs you submit. You give Life Echo Vault only the permission needed to store and display that content privately to you through the service. You must have the right to upload the content you submit.
Memberships
Free Starter includes up to 5 memories and 100 MB of private media storage. A memory can include writing, a photograph, a voice recording, or a short video, subject to the storage allowance and upload limits shown in the service. Legacy is $4.95 monthly with unlimited memory entries and 1 GB of private media storage. Legacy Plus is $9.95 monthly with 2 GB, and Annual is $99 yearly with 3 GB. Paid plans include the Life Timeline, Trusted Family Access, and Create My Keepsake PDF. Subscription checkout is provided securely through PayPal. Existing older memberships, if any, keep the terms under which they were purchased unless separately changed with the customer.
Trusted family access
You may invite one trusted person to view your wider vault through Trusted Family Access. The invited person must use the email address you specify and receives read-only access after accepting the invitation. They cannot edit or delete your content, and you can revoke their access at any time. This one-person limit applies to full-vault Trusted Family Access. Individual memories may also be shared privately with chosen email recipients through the separate memory-sharing feature. Invitation links expire after 30 days if they are not accepted.
Acceptable use
Do not upload illegal, harmful, infringing, or malicious material, attempt to access another customer’s account, or interfere with the service.
Availability
The service may be updated, interrupted, or changed as needed. Keep copies of especially important photographs and writing; Life Echo Vault should not be your only backup.
Deleting your account
Deleting your Life Echo Vault account is permanent. Before deletion, you are responsible for downloading any memories, photographs, videos, voice recordings, or other content you want to keep. Once the account is deleted, the vault and stored content cannot be recovered through Life Echo Vault, and you will no longer be able to sign in to that account. Any active Life Echo Vault PayPal subscription connected to the account is cancelled as part of the account-deletion process.
